Recently we have hosted several traditional Irish music groups. We plan to feature a wide range of world music in the future. Our historic light-filled sanctuary has a spare yet elegant appeal, which is totally consistent for a building that started out as a Lutheran church in 1926!
appreciated the acoustics and the setting. For more information about our venue, or to book a performance, email us using our Past performers page. Contact

Carter Castle is said to be one of Vashon’s deeply original musicians and lyricists. Drawing on America’s rich heritage of folk
music and blues, Castle’s music expresses universal themes and his personal experiences. Carter has performed at The Backstage, The Folklife Festival and The Best of the Northwest in Seattle as well as a number of showcase appearances on Vashon Island.
His lyrical style involves a blend of alternative country and folk-rock that has earned him opening acts with such artists as Iris Dement, Rod MacDonald and Steve Young. Originally from southern Maryland, Carter got his start as part of New York’s Greenwich Village music scene, where he was a regular performer at The SpeakEasy.
Bill Davie has been playing and singing since he was three years old, when his Dad bought he and his sister plastic ukuleles. He began writing songs at age 11. His musical training, other than singing in school choirs, has been from watching the hands and eyes of those players he’s admired over the years, beginning with his Dad and then his sister. He has produced six recordings of his original songs, five self-published books of poetry, and continues to be an active writer and performer at clubs, colleges, concert halls and festivals, mostly in the Pacific Northwest.
